5 Tents You’ll Want To Look For In The Grove
Class of ‘76
The class of ‘76 and tent owner Hu Meena are keeping tradition alive in their tent. From the tailgating era to the tent era, they’ve been setting up right where their kids played football. Meena said, “Ask not what the tent can do for you, but what you can do for the tent.”
The Local Favorite
Since 2010, Molly Shaffer and her crew have been “Groving”. From the running of the tents, to food prep, to setup, her and her friends are hands on, behind the scenes. Her tent’s hospitality is not only charming, but award winning.
Scott and Beth
After enjoying The Grove like most do, the Knight family joined the tent kraze two years ago. With fifteen hours of prep towards flowers, catering, and decorations, the string lights are the main focus in this family’s tent.
Bon Grovi
For six years, Bon Grovi has been giving other tents a bad name. Ole Miss alumni have joined together to run a tent full of tradition and friendship. They give their kids a place to roll around and play football, while enjoying company and cheering on their Ole Miss Rebels.
Ramblin’ Rebels
In this tent, unique decorations and hospitality are the main events. Located right on The Walk of Champions, the Sartin family and their friends cheer on our football team as they walk through the grove. Players always make sure to stop by and visit ‘Mama Sartin’ on game day.
