Northwest To Celebrate Homecoming Thursday, Sept. 29
Northwest Mississippi Community College will hold its Homecoming game and festivities on Thursday, Sept. 29 on the Senatobia campus.
A Homecoming Carnival, which is open to the public, will be held on the Agricultural Field from 2 – 6 p.m. The carnival will feature fun activities and games for children and adults.
The Homecoming Picnic will be held from 4:30 – 6 p.m. in the Haraway Center. Tickets are $5 for anyone over the age of six. Ticket requests may be made to the Northwest Foundation/Alumni office, NWCC P.O. Box 7015, Senatobia, MS, 38668. If paying by credit card, contact Dolores Wooten, director of Alumni Affairs and Development Operations at 662-560-1105. The last date to make advance reservations is Friday, Sept. 23. If advance tickets are not requested, the meal may be purchased during the picnic.
Pre-game festivities will begin at 6:15 p.m. at Bobby Franklin Field in Ranger Stadium. The Rangers will take on the Holmes Bulldogs with kickoff at 6:30 p.m. The Homecoming Court will be presented and the new Homecoming Queen will be announced during halftime festivities.
