FNC Park: Oxford Rebels Play in ‘Bread & Butter’ Classic

The USSSA “Bread and Butter” Classic took place at FNC Park August 26 to 28. Teams from all across the region played in the tournament.
David McPhail, one of the coaches for the Oxford Rebels 7 Youth, says there’s lots of pent-up energy with these young baseball players.
“We’re just looking to get them out, and hopefully, instill the love of baseball and develop them a little bit, so they have the potential to play on,” McPhail said.
Hosted by Richey Sports, the event offered AA, AAA & Major divisions.

The next FNC traveling team event is the No Guts No Glory tournament September 9 to 11.
Adjacent to the new indoor hitting facility, FNC is also installing new outdoor batting cages which are expected to be completed by this fall.
