The student, a minor who’s name can’t be released, has been charged with sending threatening text messages to an assistant principal that forced the school district into a two-hour lockdown last Friday.

According to the OHS website school resource officers Harper Thomas and Mario Weekly identified the suspect as a male and could face jail time if convicted.

The suspect has been released to his parents and awaits a hearing in youth court.

This is a developing story. More information will be released as it is available.
