Thousands Gather for ‘Celebration of Lives’
OXFORD, Miss – Several thousand people gathered at the Tad Smith Coliseum on the University of Mississippi campus Saturday morning for a “Celebration of Lives” service in honor Dr. Jason Farese and Dr. Lea Farese, Dr. Michael and Kim Perry and Dr. Austin and Angie Poole.
As previously reported on HottyToddy.com – the three couples were killed in a plane crash Sunday, August 14 just east of Tuscaloosa Regional Airport in Alabama.
Debbie Wheeler, a long-time Oxford resident, said her heart grieves for the eleven children who lost their parents and the family and employees of the dental practices.
“It’s so very sad,” Wheeler said. “Oxford really shows why it is so special as people have surrounded these children with love and care.”
Entitled “Our Oxford Family Memorial Fund,” a special fund has been established to support the families. Go to www.ouroxfordfamily.com or send checks to P.O. Box 1234 – Oxford, MS 38655.
