Chancellor’s House Chooses Top Hat for Exclusive Uniforms
In keeping with the focus on luxury, Chancellor’s House has worked with Top Hat to create a collection of fashionable uniforms designed specifically for them.
This very formal collection will be striking in its design, with custom uniforms for all staff members when Chancellor’s House opens this summer.
Top Hat designer, Justine Amoroso, worked with Creative Director Alan Steinger to create the Chancellor’s House uniforms.
“Most of our clients choose styles that are more modern,” says Justine. “Chancellor’s House’s uniforms were designed to create a very formal yet timeless representation of their brand. The feel is luxurious and elegant.”
Michael Donoghue, Managing Director of the Chancellor’s House, feels Top Hat created the exact look he was hoping for.
He said, “Every detail at Chancellor’s House must reinforce our brand of refined Southern elegance. We have reached internationally to identify ‘only the best’ in amenities, such as the Heeley line of bathroom toiletries and fine Egyptian bed linens.”
Top Hat image wear is a family owned uniform business with four generations of Steinger members working there today. It began as a Mom and Pop shop founded in 1923 by Saul and Ann Steinger in Hempstead, New York. It originally specialized in tuxedo rentals and custom suits, manufactured right here in New York where through the manufacturing and fashion industries; growing not only in size but in our ability to uniform a wider variety of markets within the hospitality and entertainment industries.
Top Hat is headed by Alan Steinger, President and Creative Director of the company. At the age of 19, Alan took over the business, and Top Hat began its’ transformation into his corporation that it is today. Alan began his journey with only a few uniform samples of his product on his back, roaming the streets of New York City, day after day, going door to door to iconic hotels such as The Plaza, the St. Regis, the Intercontinental, and the Grand Hyatt. It wasn’t long before word spread among the uniform industry of Top Hat’s quality, style, and design.
Featured in the collection are selections for the Spring/Fall doorman, Butler, front desk and night auditors, concierge, hostess, and the parlor maid.
