Funeral Services Scheduled for Six Plane Crash Victims

August 14, 2016, three Oxford couples were tragically killed in a plane crash that left eleven children parentless and a community deeply grieved.

Funeral services for the families are scheduled as follows:

Drs.Jason & Lea Farese
The funeral service for Drs. Jason and Lea Farese will take place at the Oxford-University Methodist Church at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 21. Visitation will be from 1 – 3 p.m. Internment will follow for family only.

Dr. Austin & Angie Poole
The funeral service for Dr. Austin and Angie Poole will take place at North Oxford Baptist Church under the direction of Ray Funeral Home and Coleman Funeral Home. It will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dr. Michael & Kim Perry
A Mass of Christian Burial for Dr. Michael and Kim Perry will be held on Monday, August 22 at 11 a.m. at St. John. A visitation with a rosary at 11 a.m. The Perrys will be buried in Oxford and reception will be held at the Parish Center following.

A community wide Celebration of Life for the Farese Family, the Perry Family, and the Poole Family will be held Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. in the Tad Smith Coliseum. The Coliseum will open at 8:30 a.m.

    May God Bless these families in this time, and lift these children’s . The little girl that wrote the letter is wise beyond her years. There not enough words to say how sorry I am for these families
