Eleven children between the three couples are left behind without their parents.

As previously reported by HottyToddy.com the couples were returning from a continuing education seminar when the pilot issued a distress call.

According to the Tuscaloosa News, Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue crews were stationed at the airport awaiting an emergency landing attempt, but the plane crashed in the woods about 1,000 feet from the runway.

A woman who lives nearby took this photo. She told WBRC TV that she tried to help but the flames were too intense.

May the children find peace knowing they were loved and could do nothing to change circumstances. Kindest hopes and wishes for them all!
