Trio of Soccer Matches Slated for SEC Network
Three Ole Miss soccer matchups will be featured on SEC Network this fall, the league announced Tuesday in its release of the network’s TV schedule.
The Rebels, in their home stadium, will be featured on the national network against SEC foes Mississippi State, Arkansas and Florida.
For the first time since the 2013 campaign, Ole Miss will host rival Mississippi State in a match slated for 6 p.m. on Sept. 22. The nationally-televised weekend continues Sunday, Sept. 25, as the Rebels play host to Arkansas at 2 p.m.
The Rebels’ next home match, Sunday, Oct. 9, features the Florida Gators and will cap the slate of scheduled games on the network for Ole Miss.
This year’s schedule also includes one wildcard selection, allowing the network the opportunity to determine the best television matchup at a later date. The wildcard date is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 27.
All other home games not broadcast on the network will be available online through WatchESPN and the ESPN app as part of the SEC Network + digital streaming platform. Back in the booth to handle the calls for the Rebels will be Richard Cross (play-by-play) and Ian Banner (analyst).
