Bim Bam Burgers in Tupelo will be hosting a concert in Tupelo on Friday and Saturday, August 5 to 6, to benefit the Mid-South Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Bim Bam Burgers aim to raise $8,000 from this charitable concert.

Co-owner of Bim Bam Burgers, Yerby Weaver, said, “The main thing about this is it’s for the Make-A-Wish foundation. That’s why these guys were so willing to do it.”

Thomas Stringfellow said, "Some of the awesome workers at Bim Bam Burgers! I just hope the concert is as awesome as the food!" (Photo from Facebook.com / Thomas Stringfellow Official)

The headliners of this concert, held at 312 South Gloster, are Thomas Stringfellow, a top-12 finisher on the final season of American Idol, and Tristan Blaine, a viral recording artist from Dallas, Texas who has an international following.

“Lee Wilson contacted me about this, and this is such a great cause,” said Blaine. “ I was just on tour with the Boys of Summer tour so I decided I just wanted to make the trip out here and do it.”

Blaine had performed only once before in Winona, Mississippi but this charity concert in Tupelo will be Stringfellow’s first-ever Mississippi concert. This will be the first time that Blaine and Stringfellow have performed together also.

However, the two have both performed charity concerts before. In 2015, Blaine participated in Allstar Nation’s Anti-Bullying Concert where he visited five middle schools and a high school from Missouri City to Houston in Texas.

Stringfellow says he has performed many charity concerts for foster children. “It’s just something that I’ve associated myself with my entire life so it’s a good feeling to help someone and see their life improve,” said Stringfellow.

The Woodland will kick off the charitable concert at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 5. Crossing Dixie will follow right after that night at 7:00 p.m. as well as performing Saturday, August 6, at 7:00 p.m also.

There will be a special appearance by a fellow American Idol top-24 finisher Amelia Eisenhauer that Saturday at 3:00 p.m. The Stonecoats will open for Tristan Blaine and Thomas Stringfellow at 5 p.m.

Advanced tickets are $15 whereas tickets are $20 at the door. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
