Update: Wiley’s Incident Report Doesn’t Describe Physical Altercation
Ole Miss defensive end Charles Wiley was arrested Monday at 5:34 p.m. by the Oxford Police department on misdemeanor domestic violence-simple assault.
The Oxford police department’s incident report doesn’t detail any physical altercations between Wiley and the female identified as Legend Fultz in the report. Fultz was also arrested at the same location for misdemeanor domestic violence-simple assault. The incident report details no injuries to either party.
According to the incident report, the arresting officer responded to a 911 call regarding a disturbance. The officer was at the residence from 5:12 p.m. until 5:34 p.m.
According to the report, redshirt sophomore defensive end Victor Evans and junior cornerback Kendarius Webster were at the scene during the time of the arrest.
The 6-foot-2 240-pound defensive end was a four star recruit from Stockbridge, Georgia and was an early enrollee for the Rebels. Wiley wasn’t listed on the depth chart at defensive end in the media guide.
Starting defensive end, Fadol Brown, is nursing a foot injury and his availability going towards the season is unknown.
