Bjork Updates Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Progress
Ole Miss is in the ending throes of a $43.5 million dollar athletic facility expansion phase, mostly which is associated with the bowling in of the north end zone at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
The good news is that all will be ready to roll in time for the Rebels’ home opener on Sept. 10 versus Wofford. The only project that won’t be completed by Ole Miss’ first home game will be the Lloyd Bell Tower to be located in the north end zone plaza with a scheduled completion date of April, 2017.
“Everything is on time and everything is under budget. That’s a good thing. It will be ready by Sept. 10,” Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork confirmed Tuesday night at a Rebel Road Trip event in Jackson, Miss.
