Inspired by a GQ article of the same name, the six-part documentary series “Last Chance U” features East Mississippi Community College (EMCC) in Scooba, Mississippi where two of Ole Miss Rebels’ quarterbacks Bo Wallace and Chad Kelly played before joining Ole Miss.

The documentary will premiere on Netflix on July 29. Directed by Greg Whiteley of Mitt, New York Doll and Resolved, the six-part series follows football recruits playing for EMCC Lions who won three of the past four national championships. Leading the football team is Coach Buddy Stephens who has nine former players currently in the NFL, an impressive number for a small town with a population of 712 people.

EMCC currently graduates more than 20 players per year into football scholarships at universities. Ole Miss fans will remember that Bo Wallace and Chad Kelly both joined the Rebels after they both led EMCC Lions to win national championships. Chad Kelly is also featured in this documentary.

Stay tuned to HottyToddy.com for the week of July 25 for an interview with Greg Whiteley and Coach Buddy Stephens to kick-off the documentary series which will air on Netflix on July 29.
