Oxford Police, McDonald’s and Wendy’s Poke Fun at NCAA’s Investigation
On June 29, Sports Illustated wrote that Lindsey Miller, estranged stepfather to former Ole Miss football player Laremy Tunsil, said “his interviews with NCAA investigators include marathon sessions on FaceTime and meetings at both a McDonald’s in Oxford, Miss, and later in that restaurant’s parking lot when he and Sheridan grew worried about being seen together.”
Since then, McDonald’s on University Avenue has been subject to a few jokes, especially from Oxford Police Department.

McDonald’s on University Avenue fired back with a joke of its own, even referencing #TheNetwork, on June 30.
A better picture here. It really does say "No, they met at Wendy's #THENETWORK" pic.twitter.com/sZLGb2NHhD

Now it boils down to one question: How did they know which of the two McDonald’s in Oxford that Lindsey Miller met NCAA’s lead investigator at? We’ll chalk this up to #TheNetwork and Illumintoddy having eyes everywhere in Oxford.
