Yesterday, June 27, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested Tony Powell, a 26-year-old graphic designer employed at the University of Mississippi on the charge of enticement of a child to meet for sexual purposes.
According to the Sheriff’s department, Powell used electronic devices to lure a nine-year-old girl to send him pictures and to meet him. He also reportedly sent her inappropriate pictures.
