Back in January, Brad Paisley brought his Country Nation College Tour presented by Zaxby’s to the new Pavilion at Ole Miss.

You may remember one lucky girl who received a special gift from the country star while he played to thousands of his fans—her very own guitar.

Cheyenne Gray, 6, from Southaven, Mississippi, attended Paisley’s concert with her parents, Jason and Kimberly Gray.

Paisley came to the stage and performed several of his hit songs, rocking the stage before slowing down to sing “This Is Country Music,” to which he played an acoustic guitar. After playing the intro, Paisley unstrapped the guitar, walked down the stage and spotted young Cheyenne. Everyone in the Pavilion started cheering as Paisley handed the guitar to his young fan.

Kimberly said Cheyenne had never met Paisley before and was “totally surprised” at the act of generosity of the three-time Grammy winner.

For a long time, the guitar sat on a stand in the family’s living room, but Cheyenne was determined to meet Paisley again one day so he could sign the special guitar.

Cheyenne’s parents looked for any chance to get in contact with Paisley or his manager to get the guitar signed.

“I have posted to Facebook and Twitter trying to get in touch with someone to try and have Brad Paisley sign it (the guitar) for Cheyenne,” Kimberly said.

Well, good news! After reading HottyToddy.com’s previous article about Cheyenne getting the guitar, Paisley’s publicist reached out. She arranged for Cheyenne’s parents to send in the guitar to have it signed. Since he’s been on tour, Paisley just got the chance to sign it, and Cheyenne got her autographed guitar back.
