HottyToddy.com will hold its first annual Holiday Marketplace event on Saturday, December 3 at The Jefferson. The Marketplace is being designed as a destination shopping event, early enough in December for a relaxed, fun experience.

The event will feature 65 booths of artists, artisans, craftspeople and boutiques (think smaller Double Decker or Mistletoe Marketplace) while also having holiday-style entertainment, refreshments, Santa photos and even Christmas trees and wreaths straight from New Hampshire.

Christmas trees and wreaths from New Hampshire will be available at the Holiday Marketplace Dec. 3.

Those interested in exhibiting will need to apply at this link (https://www.zapplication.org) on the website ZAPP.com — a national online application portal for shows such as this one. Potential exhibitors who are not already on the portal can sign up for Zapp for free to apply for the HottyToddy.com Holiday Marketplace.

Potential exhibitors will apply to participate in a juried selection process, which will close August 31. HottyToddy.com will invite the selected vendors by September 13, and they will have two weeks to accept and pay for the show by September 26. Different add-ons include premium corner booths (first come first served), electricity and tables.

“This is a perfect weekend, right after Thanksgiving and football season,” said Allison Buchanan, CEO of New Media Lab LLC, parent company of HottyToddy.com. “In addition to the wonderful local shoppers we hope to attract, we think there are many people who have second homes or who just want to shop and enjoy Oxford all decorated for the holidays, who will want to return for the event.”

Vendors will have a private lounge for snacks and refreshments throughout the day of the event. After the participating vendors are finalized, their merchandise will be promoted on HottyToddy.com’s website (1.8 million unique readers last year) and social media (75,000 Facebook followers, 10,000 Twitter followers and 9,500 Instagram followers) for the upcoming show. They will have exposure to the popular Oxford market, which generated almost $1 billion in retail sales in 2015.

Located just 3 miles from Oxford City Limits, shoppers should expect a wide array of unique, eclectic exhibitors. From clothing and jewelry to fine art and hand crafts, there will be merchandise that can appeal to everyone.
