Five SEC Schools Remains in the NCAA Baseball Tournament

This weekend is the Super Regionals of the NCAA Tournament where 16 teams are trying to punch a ticket to play in Omaha at the College World Series.

Last weekend, the Southeastern Conference had seven regional spots and four national seeds in the field of 64 team tournament. Ole Miss and Vanderbilt fell during regional play, leaving five teams from the SEC still standing for a chance to be crowned the 2016 NCAA baseball champion.

This weekend’s matchups will begin on Friday afternoon. All times listed below are central.

TCU will travel to College Station No. 4 Texas A&M at 8 p.m. on ESPN 2, Saturday at 8 p.m. on ESPN and – if necessary – on Sunday, the game will be at 8 p.m. on either ESPN 2 or ESPNU.

Arizona will travel to Starkville to face No. 6 Mississippi State at 5 p.m. on ESPN 2, Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESPNU and – if necessary – on Sunday the game will be at 5 p.m. on either ESPN 2 or ESPNU

Boston College will travel to Corral Gabels to face  No. 3 Miami (FL) at 4 p.m. (ESPNU), 11 a.m. (ESPNU) and 11 a.m. (ESPN2 or ESPNU).

Here are the remaining times:

East Carolina (37-21-1) at No. 5 Texas Tech (45-17)

7 p.m. (ESPNU), 2 p.m. (ESPNU), 2 p.m. (ESPN2 or ESPNU)

Then on Saturday these teams will start there three game series

Florida St. (40-20) at No. 1 Florida (50-13)

5 p.m. (ESPN2), 5 p.m. (ESPN2 or ESPNU), **Noon/3 p.m./6 p.m. (ESPN2) or 6 p.m. (ESPNU)

Coastal Carolina (47-16) at No. 8 LSU (45-19)

8 p.m. (ESPNU), 8 p.m. (ESPN2 or ESPNU)/ ** Noon/3 p.m./6 p.m. (ESPN2) or 6 p.m. (ESPNU))

Oklahoma State (39-20) at South Carolina (46-16)

2 p.m. (ESPN2), 2 p.m. (ESPN2 or ESPNU), **Noon/3 p.m./6 p.m. (ESPN2) or 6 p.m. (ESPNU)

UC Santa Barbara (40-18-1) at No. 2 Louisville (50-12)

11 a.m. (ESPN2), 11 a.m. (ESPN2 or ESPNU), **Noon/3 p.m./6 p.m. (ESPN2) or 6 p.m. (ESPNU)

The winners will advance to Omaha to go back into a double elimination game and then the two winners from each bracket will face off in a best-of-three series to determine the national champion.
