MS Agriculture Commissioner Cindy Hyde-Smith Speaks to Boys State
Cindy Hyde-Smith, Mississippi’s first female Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce addressed Boys State at the University of Mississippi in Oxford on June 1, 2016.
Hyde-Smith followed Governor Phil Bryant in speaking to the young men during their Political Simulation week on the University of Mississippi campus.
Stepping right off the stage, she was interviewed by Hottytoddy.com’s Meggie Carter in how she defined the impact that Boys State has on the state of Mississippi.
She said in response: “We have leaders that come out of here. It’s a cultivating ground for leaders. Its sends you chills that you get to be in front of them. That’s the reward in this is getting to be with these guys. I think it’s very significant.”
In her address to Boys State she said, “A dream without a goal is a wish.”
