Oxford Crime Report: Thursday, May 26 – Embezzlement, Warrants Served
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four noise disturbances, four welfare concerns, four suspicious people/activities, three alarms, two ambulance assists, two open doors, two lost properties, two motorist assists, a careless driving, a embezzlement, a harassment, a malicious mischief, a burglary and a domestic disturbance.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued 36 traffic citations and made nine arrests on the following charges:
(5) Minor in possession of alcohol
Public drunk
Warrant (contempt of court)
Warrant (failure to pay fines)
DUI first degree, no insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container
University police responded to one incident: a vehicle stop on West Road.
Oxford Fire Department is currently responding to calls.
