Oxford Crime Report: Thursday, May 19 – Residential Burglaries
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three alarms, three malicious mischief, three 911 hang up calls, two petit larcenies, two suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two disturbances, two residential burglaries at Grand Oaks Boulevard, a trespassing, a recovered property, a noise violation, an animal complaint, an ambulance assist, a careless driving, a fire department assist, an illegally parked car and a auto burglary at 2000 block of South Lamar Boulevard.
Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 10 traffic citations and made six arrests on the following charges:

Warrant served
Speeding and DUI
University police responded to the following incident: a report of a suspicious person at Howry Hall.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call: a smoke detector malfunction at 7:47 a.m. at 800 College Hill Road.
