Ole Miss in Athlon’s Preseason Top Ten

Athlon Sports has just released its Preseason Top 25 which names the Ole Miss Rebels as holding down the tenth position.
Here’s a preview of their projected best teams. The magazine should be available on newsstands by May 24.

This is quite exciting for Reb fans as we will face four teams among the top 17 including the top two. Assuming we go either 4-0 or 3-1 against this group, a national title is distinctly a strong possibility. And the fact that two of these games are in Oxford and one on a neutral field increases the odds for success.
Athlon referred to Chad Kelly as the SEC’s top signal caller with no shortage of options at receiver. This is truly our year.
