Ole Miss Softball to hold NCAA Selection Show Watch Party
On the heels of the best regular season in program history and an impressive showing at the SEC Tournament, Ole Miss softball is inviting all fans to its watch party at Buffalo Wild Wings for the NCAA Softball Selection Show, which airs Sunday night at 9 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
The Rebels earned and enjoyed many firsts throughout this season, and are expecting more to come with Sunday’s announcement of the 2016 NCAA Division I Softball Championship field of 64. Fans are invited to join Ole Miss players and staff Sunday night at BWW, located at 2315 Jackson Avenue in Oxford.
Ole Miss shattered the school record for wins in a season with 39, and also tied the single season mark for most SEC wins with 11. After earning the No. 9 seed for the SEC Softball Tournament, the Rebels went on to defeat No. 15 Georgia, 4-2, their third top-20 RPI win in three weeks and first ever SEC Tournament win, and played No. 1 Florida to a tough 1-0 contest in the semifinals.
