Suspect in Jessica Chamber’s Murder Sent Back from Louisiana
The Clarion-Ledger reports that the accused suspect in murder of Courtland teenager Jessica Chambers will be in Mississippi for trial sooner than expected.
The publication reports with assistance from News-Star reporter Ashley Mott. According to them, Quinton Tellis, 27 of Courtland, has pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorized use of an access card in a Ouachita Parish, Louisiana court. His action is in part with a plea agreement that will send him to Mississippi to face trial for Chamber’s murder.
Panola County District Attorney John Champion explained to the publication that Tellis will have to be processed into the Louisiana Department of Corrections first.
