Oxford Crime Report: Monday, May 9
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four alarms, four suspicious activities, an ambulance assist, a malicious mischief, a 911 hang up call, a disturbance, a petit larceny, a disturbance, a shoplifting and a welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 31 traffic citations and made one arrest for the following charges: speeding, careless driving, no driver’s license and DUI.
University police responded to the following incidents: nine vehicle stops and a moving violation per improper tag on Cross Street.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Patient lift at 6:41 a.m. (and 1:18 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. morning of Tuesday, May 10) at Hermitage Gardens
Cancelled call at 2:34 p.m. at Courtyard Marriott located at 305 Jackson Avenue
