Oxford Crime Report: Monday, April 25
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four complaints of lost property, three motorist assists, three welfare concerns, two suspicious activities, two civil matters, two careless drivers, two malicious mischief, a noise violation, a disturbance, an ambulance assist, an alarm, harassing phone calls, an illegally parked car, a scam and an auto burglary at Van Buren Avenue.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 30 traffic citations and made eight arrests on the following charges:

(2) Possession of drug paraphernalia
Public intoxication
No tag, no insurance and a suspended driver’s license
Careless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession
Warrant served, no seatbelt, no child restraint, no insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a suspended driver’s license
University police responded to the following incidents: seven vehicle stops, an intoxicated driver on Rebel Drive and a vehicle accident at National Food Service Management Institute.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call: a cancelled call at 7:19 p.m. at Oxford Health and Rehab.
