Governor’s Cup Start Time Changed to 6:30 p.m. CT
Tuesday’s Ole Miss Baseball game against Mississippi State at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi has been moved to a 6:30 p.m. CT start time. The annual battle for the Governor’s Cup will still be broadcast on SEC Network with Clay Matvick and Ben McDonald on the call.
The Governor’s Cup, formerly known as the Mayor’s Trophy game, is a neutral site matchup between in-state rivals Ole Miss and Mississippi State. The all-time series is tied 18-18 with the Rebels claiming an 11-1 victory in last season’s contest.
