Kiwanis Club Celebrates Double Decker Art with Students

Yesterday evening was special – especially to a handful of extraordinary grade school kids (grades 3-6) as they proudly accepted awards for their artistic efforts with Double Decker-themed drawings and paintings. The event – Oxford Kiwanis Club’s Inaugural Double Decker Art Contest Awards Reception – was held at the Allen Samuels Showroom and showcased over 400 entrants to the contest.

UM Chancellor Jeff Vitter (left) and Oxford Mayor Pat Patterson were in attendance at the Oxford Kiwanis Club’s Inaugural Double Decker Art Contest Awards Reception last night at the Allen Samuels Showroom on University Avenue. All photos by Jeff McVay
