Oxford Crime Report: Friday – Sunday, April 8 – 10
Tracy Joiner – Credit Card Fraud
On April 8, 2016, Oxford police investigators charged Tracy Joiner (43 of Batesville) with one count of credit card fraud [97-19-21(2)(i)]. Joiner was arrested after the investigators found him on surveillance video using a stolen debit card at a gas station. He was booked and his bond was set at $5,000.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: 13 suspicious activities, 11 disturbances, 10 careless drivers, eight 911 hang up calls, seven alarms, six noise violations, three welfare concerns, three motorist assists, two illegally-parked cars, two ambulance assists, a lost property, a petit larceny, a phone harassment, an animal complaint, a trespassing, a littering, a code violation, a malicious mischief, a scam, a recovered property, a residential burglary at Oxford Square Apartments and a auto burglary at North Mississippi Family Medical.
Oxford police investigated 18 wrecks, issued 54 traffic citations and made — arrests on the following charges:

Public intoxication
Speeding, ran red light and DUI

Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
Disturbing the peace and public intoxication
Careless driving, no driver’s license and DUI

No seatbelt, no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia

Speeding, no insurance, suspended driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia
University police responded to the following incidents:

Vandalism per malicious mischief at Stewart Hall
Disturbance at the Khayat Law School
Sunday, April 10
