“MB girls are always trend setting. To stay ahead of the trend in Oxford, we make sure to hire girls with different tastes and vibes, that way we always have a mix of the Oxford lifestyle,” Morrison said.

The MB ladies say colors are back this season including tie-dye. Crochet and knit are big for a Boho look. Bralets are a staple they do not see going away; instead, they are noticing bralets are used as statement pieces with unique straps and colors.

“MB is known for our statement pieces that we handpick for our customers and we are continuing to produce these,” Morrison said.

The MB ladies claim that some continued trends from last season such as graphic tees and high-waisted shorts will be prominent this spring.

Miss Behavin’ always carry Joe’s and Paige denim so its customers can have the classic bottom to pair their new trending top with. This month the MB ladies are seeing lace-up tops, crochet festival pieces and unique two-piece sets.

“Oxford is loving sets right now,” Morrisson said.

Miss Behavin’ ladies say that shopping in their store is an experience rather than a task. The store does carry similar brands and looks as some of the other clothing boutiques, but the MB ladies encourage customers to pair things differently than expected.

“Our clothes and our atmosphere is different from other boutiques on the Square. We pride ourselves on that,” Morrisson said.

An Ole Miss senior, Caitlin Holland, said that she only refers to Miss Behavin’ when it comes to being on top of her fashion game with the latest trends of the season.

“I can always count on finding something amazing while I am shopping,” Holland said. “I know that my purchases will stand out and be up to date with current trends.”
