Oxford Crime Report: Monday, April 4
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four suspicious activities, four alarms, three welfare concerns, two disturbances, two malicious mischief, a noise violation, a 911 hang up call, a credit card fraud, a false pretense, a scam, an illegally parked car, a harassing phone call and a residential burglary at Saddle Creek.
Oxford police investigated 11 wrecks, issued 32 traffic citations and made three arrests on the following charges:
Simple assault
Malicious mischief
No driver’s license and no insurance (wreck)
University police responded to the following incidents: two vehicle stops, two possessions of drug paraphernalia at Stockard Hall and Kincannon Hall field lot, a vehicle accident at Cosby Hall, an accidental hit and run at Pittman Hall and a moving violation per not wearing a crash helmet, suspended driver’s license and an improper tag at Chucky Mullins Drive.
Oxford Fire Department received no emergency calls.
