Oxford Crime Report: Wednesday, March 30
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four suspicious activities, four disturbances, three alarms, three animal complaints, a public intoxication, harassing phone calls, a welfare concern, a fire department assist, an illegally parked car, a civil matter, a scam and a petit larceny.
Oxford police investigated two wrecks, issued 31 traffic citations and made two arrests on the following charges:
Careless driving and DUI
Shoplifting
University police responded to the following incidents: three vehicle stops, a disturbance in Kincannon Field Lot, an accidental hit and run in Pavilion parking garage, a vehicle accident in the University Circle, a shoplifting at Ole Miss Union and a traffic detail at Chucky Mullins Drive.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Testing of the alarm system at 11:40 a.m. at the Sigma Pi house
Working on the alarm system at 5:05 p.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital
