Allen Samuels Growing with the Community and the Industry
It is currently Ram Truck Month at Allen Samuels. The annual promotion gives customers incentives to purchase Dodge’s most popular truck, which was named the 2015 Fleet Truck of the Year by Automotive Fleet Magazine along with several other accolades.
According to Allen Samuels’, “commitment to excellence does not end with the sale.” The dealership also offers “staff an onsite auto service and repair department” and “maintain a vast collection of auto parts for sale in Oxford.”
Bryan Barron Johnson has been president at Allen Samuels Chrysler Jeep and Dodge of Oxford since September 2014, and has grown the business substantially with plans for further growth on the way.
Since taking over Allen Samuels, Johnson has added jobs in the community growing the dealership’s employee base from 17 to 30. The dealership has seen improvements from new lifts to revamped offices. Johnson hopes to completely renovate the facility one day.
“We want to provide a good place for our customer to feel comfortable,” Johnson said. “There should be no reason that anyone in Oxford-Lafayette Country should have to leave this area to buy a car.”
With information so readily available to consumers today, the car industry has changed along with the growth of online retail. Allen Samuels is welcoming the age of information and often sees business from customers who discover cars online. Online searches have opened the dealership’s market beyond Oxford and Mississippi.
“The process of searching for cars online has expanded our reach. One day we had a couple from Florida buy a Wrangler and another a guy from Missouri buy a Ram truck,” Johnson said.
Despite its growing online presence, Allen Samuels continues to find its passion in the Oxford-Lafayette community. It is always a goal for team members to find ways to benefit the community around them. A community spirit can be felt at its location on University past Kroger.
“We feel blessed to be involved in Oxford and the surrounding community,” Johnson said. “We don’t exist without our customers and this community.”
The sales team, lead by Sales Manager Mason Rives, is driven by the mantra that they should treat each customer that enters the doors as they would a guest in their own house. The salesmen at Allen Samuels want to provide a relaxing atmosphere for their customers in an industry that is notorious for pushing customers to buy.
“We want to provide a no-pressure, buying experience for our customers. We want to provide helpful information to make the best purchase,” Rivers said. “Our goal is to always put our customers at ease in a no-pressure environment.”
The slogan at Allen Samuels is “Come by, let’s be friends.” These five words help shape every interaction at the dealership whether it is sales or service.
In a world that demands so much, Allen Samuels simply wants to be friends with the customers, to make the customers’ lives just a little bit better. So, go by Allen Samuels Chrysler Jeep and Dodge of Oxford and be their friend.
