OFF Art Auction to Raise Funds for Festival
As with any festival, funds are a priority to keep the machine running smoothly and to be able to bring entertainment to the masses. Oxford’s very own film festival (OFF) is no different.
OFF organizers will be hosting a very special arts auction with a ton of great movie and television items tomorrow (Tuesday, February 16) at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center located at 413 South 14th Street.
The auction will run concurrently with OFF Virtual Reality film selections and a Made in Mississippi poster exhibit.
The public is encouraged to drop in and check out great film images from the present and past and consider bidding in order to benefit the Oxford Film Festival.
The auction will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 21 and winners will be announced soon afterward.
See something that you absolutely must have… right now? OFF organizers have considered this and have placed an option to buy any of the items on the spot for those who don’t want to take the chance of losing one of the memorial prizes in the auction.
Take a look below at some of the amazing items that will be up for auction of Tuesday evening:
The 2016 Oxford Film Festival will take place February 17-21 and will be held predominantly at Malco Oxford Commons. Programs are available now at the Powerhouse and Shelter on Van Buren on the Oxford Square.
