Former Ole Miss Football Player Returns to Super Bowl
Former Ole Miss Rebel and star of Warner Brothers Film, “The Blind Side”, Michael Jerome Oher, is playing in Superbowl 50 on Sunday, Feb. 7.
Oher is a an American Offensive Football linebacker for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League, and a former Ole Miss Rebel. Oher was the first round draft pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2009 and later played for the Tennessee Titans before playing for the Panthers.
This is Oher’s second time playing in the Super Bowl. The offensive tackle played in the Super Bowl in 2013 while he was playing for the Baltimore Ravens. Oher has recieved many awards from Rivals.com, The Sporting News, and Collegenewsfootball.com and many more.
According to Ole Miss Sports, Ole Miss has had 22 former football players to play in the Super Bowl with 27 appearances.
