Jimbo Mathus and Them Dirty Crooks Just an Hour Away in Water Valley
BOOM TOWN, indeed! Check out the attached video of downtown Water Valley’s Yalobusha Brewing Company and its amazing transformation.
Yalobusha Brewing Company, located in the quaint Mississippi town just a few convenient miles south of Oxford, recently started a really cool Friday program aptly titled Brewing Tours Tasting and Tunes, and its popularity is already beginning to be sealed in the North Mississippi area.
Tonight, January 16, the iconic Water Valley brewery will play host to Jimbo Mathus and Them Dirty Crooks beginning at 6 p.m.
Cover for the event doesn’t exist and brewery owner/operator Andy O’Bryan promises a good time will definitely be in order for all.
“We had a great crowd last Friday for Andrew Bryant’s set, our first, and we’re expecting the same or better tonight for Jimbo’s,” O’Bryan said.
Although there are no concrete directions attached to this brief, the brewery can’t be missed if you head south on Highway 7, veer right, drive and and hang a left at the big Water Valley lettering on the side of the road. There, keep going. Once in the Downtown Water Valley Main Street district, find Casey Jones’ train and look to the right. There you’ll find the amazing brewery combo music hall. Here’s a short video to help locate the site:
More info later about this amazing new music venue and its importance to North Mississippi. In the meantime, get your Yalo brew and rock on this evening at 6 with Jimbo Mathus and Them Dirty Crooks.
