Ole Miss Ice Hockey Plays For Egg Bowl On Ice Against MSU
On January 13, the Ole Miss Ice Hockey team won 18-0 in the first of two games for the Egg Bowl on Ice against Mississippi State University.
The ice hockey team competes in the Southern region of the ACHA and the South Eastern Collegiate Hockey Conference (SECH). Other teams in the SECH conference are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
Founded in 2009, the ice hockey team has played 166 games and has a record of 85-69-6-7. The team has made four consecutive Regional appearances and three consecutive National appearances. This season, the ice hockey team seeks to win the SECH championship.
The two rival teams traveled to the Bancorp South Arena in Tupelo for a two day bowl. The second game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tonight. Join the Rebels as they fight to win the Egg Bowl on Ice!
