The Rebelettes are the official dance team of Ole Miss Athletics and the Pride of the South Marching Band. They traveled to New Orleans to perform inside the Mercedes Benz Superdome as the Ole Miss football team played in the 2016 Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Each time the Rebelettes perform, they bring excitement, enthusiasm and fun to the field or court.

Each Rebelette is hand selected by Ole Miss through tryouts, which are every Spring. Their duties include the following: dancing at home and select football and basketball games; Grove and sideline shows; perform with the Pride of the South during halftimes; dancing at select sporting events such as soccer or volleyball; perform community service; dance at pep rallies for Ole Miss.

When the Rebelettes are not performing in the public, they are performing well academically. Many Rebelettes are Provost Scholars or on the Dean’s and Chancellor’s List and are members of several honor societies.

They did such a great job and work so hard. I love the outfits. I do not care for the old “show the belly” style. Leave something to the imagination. Ladies, you looked lovely!
