Oxford Crime Report: Wednesday, December 16
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five alarms, four suspicious activities, two disturbances, a trespassing, a motorist assist, a civil matter, a petit larceny, a lost property and an animal complaint.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 13 traffic citations and made four arrests on the following charges:
Speeding and DUI
Public intoxication
No insurance and DUI
Possession of drug paraphernalia
University police responded to the following incidents: four vehicle stops, vehicle accident at Tad Smith Coliseum, vehicle accident on Chucky Mullins Drive, and a willful trespassing at the airport at Ole Miss.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Smoke detector activated at 9:49 a.m. by sweeping and dusting at the University Parking Garage
Cancelled call at 5:13 p.m. at 300 Cullen Road
