Oxford Crime Report: Monday, December 14
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four suspicious activities, three petit larcenies, three motorist assists, two alarms, two careless drivers, a lost property, a disturbance, an animal complaint, a scam, a domestic violence, a littering and a malicious mischief.
,strong>Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 26 traffic citations and made eight arrests on the following charges:

Warrant served
Careless driving and DUI
Speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia
Speeding, suspended driver’s license and no insurance
Careless driving, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI
Possession of drug paraphernalia, false identifying information and possession of Schedule II narcotics
University police responded to the following incidents: an accidental hit and run at Hume Hall, a larceny of bicycles at Faser Hall and a cyberstalking at Weir Hall.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following incidents:
Smell of natural gas at 9:47 a.m. at College Hill Road and McElroy area but the call was unfounded
Cancelled call at 9:58 a.m. at 2109 Harris Drive
Cancelled call at 1:46 p.m. at 1400 Van Buren
