Senior Jessica Hiskey and junior Addie Forbus of the Ole Miss soccer team have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Women’s Soccer Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America released Tuesday.

Hiskey was named to the second team, while Forbus earned third team honors. To be eligible for Academic All-America® consideration, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at her current institution and be nominated by her sports information director.

Forbus finished the 2015 campaign as part of the nation’s fifth-highest scoring duo alongside freshman CeCe Kizer. She totaled 11 goals and seven assists for the Rebels, totaling 29 points, which ranks fourth in the SEC and 47th nationally. She scored 11 of her goals in SEC play, which led the conference. The Amory, Mississippi native played 2,108 minutes on the pitch in 23 games, second-most on the team, and also led the squad in shots (69) and shots on goal (34). She and Kizer combined for 25 goals all year, more than five SEC schools scored the entire season.

Off the pitch, Forbus boasts a 3.75 GPA majoring in communications sciences and disorders (CSD). She is a three-time member of the Chancellor’s Honor Roll on campus, producing a GPA between 3.75 and 4.0 those semesters. Forbus earned a spot on the SEC Academic Fall Honor Roll last year and was named to the SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll as a freshman. She is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Sigma Alpha Lambda & Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society.

Hiskey, who earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors for the second year in a row earlier this season, just completed her career as part of a group of seven seniors that tied for the most wins of any senior class in school history with 51. She finished her career starting in 52-straight matches, and led the team this season in minutes played (2,156). Following Samantha Sanders’ injury in the Alabama match in late September, Hiskey moved to the backline, where she helped record five shutouts for the Rebels.

The Franklin, Tennessee native has been on the Chancellor’s Honor Roll every semester of her collegiate career. She is a two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member and also was on the SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll as a freshman. She holds a 3.92 GPA as a chemistry major with a minor in psychology.
