Campus Creek Apartments: An Ole Miss Classic
Fall in Oxford brings a number of exciting things for Ole Miss students, from Saturdays spent at Vaught-Hemingway to finally breaking out sweaters to hit the Square. Despite all of the excitement of the season, students have to begin preparing for next August when they will pack up from summer and return back to the Promised Land, this time in a new home.
As students on campus begin searching for the best apartment to turn Pinterest perfect, they do not have very far to look. Campus Creek, an apartment complex located right off of campus, is the ideal location for students and Oxford residents alike who crave the convenience of campus coupled with the coziness of a furnished three or four bedroom apartment. Located off of Hathorn Road on Creekmore Boulevard, Campus Creek has been an Ole Miss go-to when choosing off campus housing since it first opened in 2004. In large part because of its location, which is a stone’s throw to campus or Jackson Avenue, students continuously flock here to sign leases each year.
One aspect that specifically draws students to Campus Creek is the large number of amenities that they provide. Not only is each unit furnished, including a washer and dryer, but also the complex itself has anything one could dream of needing. From a fitness center, pool, tanning beds and volleyball court to a car wash area and computer lab complete with printing services, students are able to get all the amenities of a luxury complex in a convenient location at a much lower price than the competition. According to Campus Creek’s leasing and marketing manager, Erin Marshall, the list of amenities goes on and on.
“Because Campus Creek has been here so long, the square footage and common area is a lot bigger than other places,” Marshall said. “The location for the price is also a bonus. Since we’re all-inclusive, it’s a great transition place for students.”
In the three years that Marshall has been with Campus Creek, she said that apartments are being leased quicker than ever this year, leading her to believe that they will be completely full in the very near future. Leasing one of these apartments is easier than ever, as Campus Creek features online leasing. With a few clicks, you can quickly reserve your home for next year.
Marshall said, “Our online leasing is very convenient, especially for transfer students or students with parents who live out of state.”
