No.5: Mississippi’s Walk for Diabetes
Sunday, November 8, 1 p.m. at The Lyceum (Ole Miss)
Put on your running (or walking shoes) and meet at the Lyceum to support the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi. The Oxford walk is just one of the seven across the state. Registration is available online or the day of the event at the Lyceum. Registration is $20. You can also register to raise money greater than that amount, if you choose.

No. 4: Double Decker Bus Tour
Friday, November 6, 2 p.m. at The Oxford Convention & Visitors Bureau
Fall in Oxford is gorgeous! Why not see all of the finest scenery by Double Decker bus now that the leaves are all in their hues of red and orange? The tour is $10 for adults and $5 for children under age 12. Call 662-232-2477 to buy your ticket in advance, or stop by the office on Lamar Boulevard.

Friday, November 6, 9 p.m. at Proud Larry’s
Idaho musician Trevor Powers a.k.a. Youth Lagoon will be bringing his sound to Proud Larry’s on Friday. To preview Youth Lagoon, visit Savage Hills Ballroom to get a taste of his music pre-show. General admission tickets for this event are $15 in advance online or are $17 at the door.
