Oxford Police Department Participates in No-Shave November
The Oxford Police Department will be participating in “No Shave November” in an effort to bring awareness to cancer and promote charitable giving to cancer research and education.
The concept began as a suggestion to stop shaving and donate the money saved on grooming towards cancer research and awareness.
Officers are donating $10 to the Oxford Peace Officers Association in exchange for putting down their razors for the month of November. At the end of the month all of the donations given as a part of No Shave November will be donated to an organization that promotes cancer awareness, research or support. Citizens are welcome to participate or match officers if they would like.
