Oxford Crime Report: Wednesday, October 28
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three disturbances, two welfare concerns, a petit larceny, a suspicious activity, an animal complaint, a careless driver, a harassing phone call, an ambulance assist, a lost property, a 911 hang up call, an alarm, and a civil matter.
Oxford police investigated 12 wrecks, issued 32 traffic citations and made nine arrests on the following charges:
(4) Possession of drug paraphernalia
(2) Public intoxications
Public intoxication and disturbing the peace
Careless driving, speeding and DUI
Careless driving and DUI
University police responded to the following incidents: two vehicle stops, a vehicle accident on campus grounds, an assault off-campus, accidental hit and run in Women’s Terrance lot, a fire alarm at Burns Hall, and a traffic detail on Chucky Mullins Lane.
Oxford Fire Department had no emergencies to respond to.
