Oxford Crime Report: Tuesday, October 27
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two disturbing the peace, two lost properties, two 911 hang up calls, a noise violation, an ambulance assist, an animal complaint, a credit card fraud, a scam, an improper parking and a harassment.
Oxford police investigated 10 wrecks, issued 12 traffic citations and made no arrests.
University police responded to the following incidents: four vehicle stops, possession of drug paraphernalia at Stockard Hall, accidental property damage on Fraternity Row, and accidental property damage on Chucky Mullins Road.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following incidents:
Machinery malfunction at 4:09 a.m. at Winchester
Wreck at 2:55 p.m. where the fire department popped a door open to get the victim out at Highway 7 South and Veterans Boulevard
Water flow alarm malfunction at 9:45 p.m. at Winchester
