Vassallo: Women Excel in Their 50s
The latest James Bond film, SPECTRE, premiering November 6 will feature the oldest Bond costar, Monica Anna Maria Bellucci, at age 51.
The Italian beauty, actress and model, is fluent in five languages: Italian, English, French, Persian and Spanish. She gave birth to her first child at age 39. Belluci plays Lucia Sciarra in Sony/MGM’s 24th James Bond title.
Lucia is the beautiful widow of an infamous criminal. SPECTRE takes 47 year old Daniel Craig (James Bond) to Mexico City and Rome in the latest adventure.
SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter intelligence, terrorism, revenge and extortion) will be making its first appearance in an Eon productions film since the 1971 “Diamonds Are Forever.” Christoph Waltz as Franz Oberhauser is Bond’s primary antagonist.
Co-producer Barbara Broccoli believes the theme song “Writing’s On The Wall” performed by singer/songwriter Sam Smith will be one of the all time great Bond tunes.
Ms. Belluci was born September 30, 1964 and began modeling at age 13. In 1988 she moved to the fashion center in Milan where she associated with Elite Model Management. In the 2004 biblical drama, “The Passion of the Christ”, she played the role of Mary Magdalene.
Monica Anna Maria Belluci will certainly light up the screen as she demonstrates that women are not only beautiful at 13, but 51 and beyond. Staying “shaken, but not stirred” this film is on my holiday to see list.
