Oxford Crime Report: Thursday, October 15
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: two alarms, two disturbing the peace, a careless driver, a suspicious activity, an ambulance assist, a fire department assist, a harassing phone call, an obstruction of traffic and an animal complaint.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 32 traffic citations and made six arrests on the following charges:
(2) Possession of drug paraphernalia
Leaving the scene of an accident and DUI to first degree
Speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia
DUI to first degree
Public drunk
University police responded to the following incidents: five vehicle stops, a warrant served, a suspicious person at Farley Hall, a hit and run in the South lot, and a petit larceny at Hume Hall.
