Neely-Dorsey: Happy National Southern Belle Day!
DID YOU KNOW…that October 15 is National Southern Belle Day?
Of course I might be just a little biased but I am particularly partial to those Mississippi Magnolia Southern Belles. Mississippi Magnolia girls are true steel magnolias!
What is a steel magnolia? A woman who exemplifies both traditional femininity as well as an uncommon fortitude, combining the contrasting images of steel, a hard metal, and magnolia, a delicate flower.
She’s the best of both worlds!
Here’s to all of the Southern Belles and Steel Magnolias out there… Enjoy and Celebrate YOUR day!
