Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three motorist assists, two lost properties, two simple assaults, two welfare concerns, two alarms, two burglaries at The Mark, a petit larceny, a disturbance, a scam and a shoplifting.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued 23 traffic citations and served two warrants for arrests.
University police responded to the following incidents:

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Smoke detector activation at 12:13 a.m. due to burned food at Residential College South
Smoke detector malfunction at 3:13 a.m. at The Links, Building 34, Apartment 12
Wreck at 1:12 p.m. with the car fully engulfed in fire on Highway 6 at Wells Gate entrance
Smoke detector activated at 4:40 p.m. due to blowing out a candle at Oxford Surgical Clinic
